This Shipping Policy explains how and when orders are shipped from Thrive Auto USA. It should be read together with our Limited Parts Warranty, Refund Policy, Return & Cancellation Policy, and Terms & Conditions.
Coverage Territory
Freight Rates
Standard freight shipping to commercial addresses with a loading dock or forklift is free within the contiguous United States, unless otherwise stated.
“Commercial address” means a business location suitable for receiving freight deliveries during normal business hours with proper unloading equipment.
Deliveries to residential addresses or locations that require liftgate service incur an additional $199 fee per shipment.
This fee covers the extra carrier handling and equipment needed to safely unload the engine or transmission at a non-commercial location.
Preparation
Because we specialize in used engines and transmissions, each order requires time to:
Transit
Once your order has been processed, inspected, and palletized, it is handed over to a freight carrier.
Transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by freight carriers, weather, holidays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Total Timeframe
Combining processing and transit times:
This is an estimated window, not a guarantee. Some orders may arrive sooner, while others may take longer due to carrier or logistical factors.
LTL Receiving
Engines and transmissions ship via LTL (less-than-truckload) freight:
If a delivery is missed or redelivered, carriers may charge additional fees. These fees are the responsibility of the customer unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing.
48-Hour Protocol
When your shipment arrives:
Once damage is reported with the required photos and delivery-receipt notation, Thrive Auto USA will coordinate and file the freight claim with the carrier on your behalf. You do not need to file a separate claim yourself.
After the claim is verified, you may choose either a replacement of the correct part or a full refund. If the damaged part needs to be returned, Thrive Auto USA will arrange and pay for the return shipment. You are not responsible for those return shipping costs.
Transit Property
Risk of loss passes to you when the shipment is delivered to the carrier, except where otherwise required by law. This means the shipment is your property in transit, not that you bear the cost of damage. Thrive Auto USA packages and insures every shipment and handles the carrier claim on your behalf as described in Section 7 above if it arrives damaged.
It is your responsibility to provide a correct and complete shipping address, ensure someone is available to receive the freight, and notify us promptly of any issues.
